Dr. Simlote is a board-certified vascular surgeon who has been in practice since 2006. After completing his graduate training, he pursued an internship in General Surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, followed by General Surgery training at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. He then completed a Vascular Fellowship at TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Simlote's clinical interests cover all aspects of endovascular and open vascular surgery. He specializes in treating peripheral vascular disease using the latest minimally invasive techniques as well as traditional bypass surgery. Additionally, he treats abdominal aortic and peripheral aneurysm disease with percutaneous endografting as well as open resection. He addresses carotid artery stenosis through carotid endarterectomy and carotid stenting. His extensive experience also includes creating and managing access for patients with end-stage renal disease, as well as treating varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency.
